A MILLSTONE AROUND HIS NECK!

Yes, Jesus said it would be better to die in the sea, to be drowned, than to scandalize one of his little ones and cause them to sin. How many parents, how many adults set a bad example for little ones, who are watching what they’re doing, and picking up on everything they see and hear.

How often is it that little ones hear their mommy or daddy using bad words, and start saying them after them? Or they see their mother and father getting impatient and angry when things don’t go right? Or, even worse, they see their mother and father fighting and arguing, sometimes yelling at each other and saying terrible things?

Then again, maybe they’re watching a sporting event, where the cheerleaders are immodest, or a movie of some sort where immoral things are shown and said. The little children have good ears and eyes. They can’t help noticing these things, and not being properly instructed, start imitating them. What about the parent who uses the F bomb word right in front of the children?  Will he receive mercy from the Lord? Surely not. If a man were given the sentence to have a millstone tied around his neck and dropped in the sea, that would be the death penalty for him, would it not? And Jesus said it would be better for him to have this death penalty than to scandalize one of these little ones, and cause them to sin.  Because these little children are innocent, or even if they are older, they are going to be drawn into sin because they do not know any better, and Jesus died for the salvation of these little ones, and we are going to be leading them to hell by our bad example. Imagine if you were a parent and you saw someone trying to hurt your little 5 year old boy or girl, how angry you would be. You would be ready to tear their head off, would you not? Now imagine how angry God is when he sees  people hurting his little children and causing them to sin. It won’t go easy on the unrepentant sinner who’s guilty of this.

A few years ago a gentleman was in a store and he overheard a young man and an older man in conversation. The young man was using some pretty bad language loud enough for anyone to hear him. The gentleman asked the young man, “What if a little child were hearing you talk like that?” And to his credit, the young man apologized.  That said a lot about the young man. He was not too proud to be corrected, nor hard-hearted. Some people have sinned so much that when someone corrects them, they refuse to listen. Like Martin Luther for example, the apostate priest of the 1500’s, not Martin Luther King whom I understand was a good man. But the young man in the store had picked up the habit from someone else no doubt, that’s how it happens, and began using bad language so often he never even considered it anymore. There was a man one time who took God’s Holy Name in vain, and another gentleman corrected him. He questioned the gentleman, “I said what?” and the gentleman reminded him he had just taken the Lord’s Holy Name in vain. He had developed such a bad habit that he no longer was even conscious of when he was saying it!

So many people take God’s Holy name in vain, and do not realize they are cursing themselves and even their families. Two families I’m aware of, the men often took the Lord’s Name in vain, and one lost his daughter at 12; the other lost his son in a car accident at 16. “A man that sweareth much shall be filled with iniquity, and a scourge shall not depart from his house.” Ecclus. 23:12, drbo.org. In the following story, it relates how a soldier was soon struck down dead by Our Lord after taking God’s Holy Name in vain. ONE HOUR LATER HE WAS DEAD! https://tinyurl.com/2p8rf38m. We curse ourselves, and we curse our families. Probably the most frequent sin in society today is the sin of vulgarity and profanity. We hear it everywhere. There is hardly a home that’s not under its curse, and the little children see it and pick it up. And when things don’t go right, we get mad and curse and blame everyone else. I saw an example of this just a few days ago. At a Taco Bell, a man with his speakers too loud while the workers were trying to get their work done inside, started cursing and yelling like it was everyone

else’s fault.  “He that would love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.” 1 Peter 3:10. Do you think possibly the man brought it all upon himself?

St. Paul said, “Let no filthy speech proceed from your mouth,” Colossians 3:8, yet how many people now have the habit of using vulgar language every time they open their mouth. Some people even take the beautiful name of ‘Mother’ and put the F bomb word behind it. What a degrading way to use a mother’s name!!!  Most people who live in sin, who only listen to rap music or whatever, who watch videos for pure amusement are not aware that very great chastisements are threatened upon the earth for our sins.. When we hear of earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, wars, and all kinds of natural calamities, these are signs of God’s anger. “The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.” [Psalms 28:5]. “The earth shook and trembled: the foundations of the mountains were troubled and were moved, because he was angry with them.” Psalm 17:8. Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora 200 years ago was shown God’s gaze upon the earth, his anger, and she said it was enough to incinerate the whole world!  https://tinyurl.com/3aw3m4vd.

Some prophecies predict two-thirds of mankind will perish, some say 75% when God decides to chastise the world. Many of the saints have predicted a 3 days of darkness to descend upon the world, and fire for 3 days destroying the evil from the face of the earth. “And there shall be in all the earth, saith the Lord, two parts in it shall be scattered, and shall perish: but the third part shall be left therein.  And I will bring the third part through the fire…” Zach. 13:8-9. Only one third will be brought through the fire. Our Blessed Mother warned about this in the 1950’s to Sr. Elena Aiello, MotherofGodlibrary.org, where she warned “seventy hours of lightning flashes of fire will come down from heaven.” That’s 3 days. In that one letter on Fatima she reportedly told the children that 75% of the people would perish! Are you in her small group?

Christina Gallagher from Ireland was in New York in 1999 at a rosary rally, two years before the Twin Towers were destroyed, and she told them, “The Twin Towers are going to be destroyed.” There was an American Judge there who wrote the prophecy down and tried to make it more widely known. This prediction came to pass exactly as she predicted. In 2008 she said that God had given her another vision about America. This prophecy has not yet been fulfilled but this is what God showed her. She said she was shown a horrific bomb hitting America, followed by a great earthquake. She said she didn’t know if the bomb caused the earthquake or not. She went on to say that civil war would break out in America, and there would be much bloodshed, and that there were nests of foreigners in the U.S. Colonel Jim Ammerman said about 20 years ago we had more foreign troops in the U.S. than U.S. troops. If it was true then, how much more so with so many millions of illegal immigrants crossing our borders? And how many of those do you think are here for the wrong reason? How many are criminals, or spies? You can be sure our country is now infested with enemies.

The Old Testament is filled with chastisements for those who break away from God and do evil. But the world is not aware of it because they do not read the Bible. Jeremiah says, “Because the land is full of adulterers, because the land hath mourned by reason of cursing, the fields of the desert are dried up: and their course is become evil, and their strength unlike. For the prophet and the priest are defiled: and in my house I have found their wickedness, saith the Lord.  Therefore their way shall be as a slippery way in the dark: for they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evils upon them, the year of their visitation, saith the Lord.” 23:10-12.

“We have sinned before the Lord our God, and have not believed him, nor put our trust in him: And we were not obedient to him, and we have not hearkened to the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his commandments, which he hath given us. From the day that he brought our fathers out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, we were disobedient to the Lord our God: and going astray we turned away from hearing his voice. And many evils have cleaved to us, and the curses which the Lord foretold by Moses his servant: who brought our fathers out of the land of Egypt, to give us a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day.  And we have not hearkened to the voice of the Lord our God according to all the words of the prophets whom he sent to us: And we have gone away every man after the inclinations of his own wicked heart, to serve strange gods, and to do evil in the sight of the Lord our God.” Baruch 1:17-22. “Many evils have come upon us,” they said, “and the curses which the Lord foretold by Moses,” because they wouldn’t listen! Shall it be any different with us? Assuredly not. Why do bad things happen to bad people? Disobedience to the commandments of God.

Curse after curse God says: “But if thou wilt not hear the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep and to do all his commandments and ceremonies, which I command thee this day, all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee. ” (All these curses: Thus God dealt with the transgressors of his law in the Old Testament). Cursed shalt thou be in the city, cursed in the field. Cursed shall be thy barn, and cursed thy stores.  Cursed shall be the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, the herds of thy oxen, and the flocks of thy sheep. Cursed shalt thou be coming in, and cursed going out. The Lord shall send upon thee famine and hunger, and a rebuke upon all the works which thou shalt do: until he consume and destroy thee quickly, for thy most wicked inventions, by which thou hast forsaken me.” Deut 32:15-20. And the chapter goes on with many more curses. We reap what we sow, even in this life. Curses bring curses, blessings bring blessings. Which shall we choose? Which shall we choose for our children?

Rosary shirt in honor of Our Lady of Fatima. We need to get the message out. Warnings from Heaven. She said if we heeded her requests, we would have peace and many souls would be saved. If not, she said, there would be communism, persecution of the Church, the Holy Father would suffer much, (Pope John Paul II was shot on the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima, May 13, 1981)!, wars, and even several entire nations would be annihilated. Is that what we want for ourselves, and our children? She said it would happen if we don’t listen. And many of these prophecies have already come true.
