JESUS HIMSELF DESIRES FREQUENT COMMUNION

“Once I desired very much to receive Holy Communion, but I had a certain doubt, and I did not go. I suffered greatly because of this. When I set about my work, my  heart full of bitterness, Jesus suddenly stood by me and said, “My daughter, do not omit Holy Communion unless you know well that your fall was  serious; apart from this, no doubt must stop you from uniting yourself to me in this mystery of My love. Your minor faults will disappear in My love like a piece of straw throw into a great furnace. Know that you grieve me much when you fail to receive Me in Holy Communion.” –Sr. Josepha Menendez, The Way of Divine Love.

What happens if we receive infrequently?

1.  We lose merit for our eternal happiness.

2.  We lose a higher place in heaven.

3.  We lose a greater degree of happiness in heaven.

4.  We lengthen our purgatory when we die, possibly many years.

5.  We make our salvation less secure, for Our Lord said, ”If you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man… you shall have no life in you.’’

6.  We wound the Heart of Our Lord, who himself desires frequent Holy Communion.

7.  We offend the Heart of Our Lord also, because we do not esteem this priceless gift of infinite value that He is giving to us for our good. How would you feel if you offered someone an expensive and beautiful gift, and they refused?

8.  It could even be an insult not to receive when we are able, because we are despising this great gift of God. How could any Catholic in the state of grace not want to receive Our Lord in Holy Communion? That one could be said not to have a very good relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist. Fr. Mateo, the apostle for the Sacred heart of Jesus said, “Those who love Our Lord wish to receive Him often.”

9.  We commit more sins, because we are weak, and without these added graces, we fall more often.

10. We receive a more severe judgement at death. There was a story in Fr. Shouppe’s book on purgatory about a certain person who had the opportunity of the Last Sacraments at death, and did not take advantage of it, and their purgatory was more severe because of it. What must we say of those who often have the opportunity to communicate, and fail to do so? Is this what we want? A longer stay in the fires of purgatory, maybe even years? A nun came back from purgatory asking for prayers, and to show the living nun how hot she was, she put her little hand on the door and burned her imprint in the door! How hot would you have to be to burn your imprint on the door? This story was verified because the name of the nun who came back, did indeed have a small hand.

Minutes seem like years: St. Alphonsus related a story of a man who was given the choice of two more years on the sickbed, or three days in purgatory. He chose the three days in purgatory, so he died. He started complaining to his guardian angel about being there for years, and his guardian angel said, “What’s this you say? You speak of years? Your body is still warm from your deathbed!” Woe to those who take purgatory lightly, and do not take the means to avoid sin and mitigate it, or work to eliminate it entirely by a holy life. How many smaller sins do we commit that could be overcome if we would take them more seriously? “He that contemneth small things, shall fall little by little.” Ecclus. 19:1. Many of these smaller sins could be overcome by more frequent Communion. Many of our venial sins are forgiven through frequent Holy Communion. What a tremendous blessing for those who are in the state of grace and are to communicate daily! Another nun from purgatory said the average stay in purgatory is 30 to 40 years. But these loving souls who wish to receive Our Lord often , will have a high place in heaven, and a short purgatory. Fr. Mateo, the apostle for the Sacred heart of Jesus said, “Those who love Our Lord wish to receive Him often.”

Those who have a strong devotion to our Blessed Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, who pray her rosary daily, wear her Brown Scapular and Miraculous Medal, receive great graces through her hands. “All good things come to me, together with her, and innumerable riches through her hands.” Wisdom 7:11. These innumerable riches are the graces she obtains for us, when we practice these devotions to her. A good mother provides for her children. She cleans them up, and she feeds them. Our Blessed Mother often sees to it her children get to confession, cleaning up their souls, and then leads them to Holy Communion, the life of their souls. With good reason then, is it called “The Bread of Life.”

She is also said to be an infinite treasure to men, because she brings so many back to God. “For she is an infinite treasure to men! which they that use, become the friends of God.” St. Augustine said, “There are many graces God wants to give to us, but we are not worthy. The only way He will give them to us is through the Blessed Mother.” This is because of our many sins, we make ourselves unworthy to receive the graces we need, and the graces He wants to give to us, but you and I both know, if you offend the judge too many times, we no longer receive mercy but justice. But if you have a good advocate, a good lawyer who has favor with the judge, they can oftentimes turn things around. This is what the Blessed Mother does for us, if, and only if, we are devoted to her, as mentioned above. A wise man who has to go to court, obtains for himself a good lawyer.

At Fatima Our Lady asked us to pray the rosary daily, every day. We have time for sports, we have time for tv, we have time for internet, we have time for friends, we have time for bars, we have time to talk on the phone, but, we don’t have time for the rosary. Hmmn. Wearing the Brown Scapular? It has a two-fold protection. Most importantly, it will keep us from falling into hell when we die. “Whosoever dies wearing this garment shall not suffer eternal fire.”  Not a license to sin, but if we wear it faithfully, (all the time, because we never know when we will die), she will intercede for us and make sure we are in the grace of God when we die. The devil hates the Scapular, and he once revealed to Francis of Yepes, “Take off that scapular! All those who wear it die piously and escape us!” St. Thomas Acquinas said there are many souls in heaven by the prayers of Mary, who otherwise would not be there.” A wise son listens to his mother.

A wise son also listens to his father: ‘’ [2] Children, hear the judgment of your father, and so do that you may be saved. [3] For God hath made the father honourable to the children: and seeking the judgment of the mothers, hath confirmed it upon the children. [4] He that loveth God, shall obtain pardon for his sins by prayer, and shall refrain himself from them, and shall be heard in the prayer of days. [5] And he that honoureth his mother is as one that layeth up a treasure.

[6] He that honoureth his father shall have joy in his own children, and in the day of his prayer he shall be heard. [7] He that honoureth his father shall enjoy a long life: and he that obeyeth the father, shall be a comfort to his mother. [8] He that feareth the Lord, honoureth his parents, and will serve them as his masters that brought him into the world. [9] Honour thy father, in work and word, and all patience, [10] That a blessing may come upon thee from him, and his blessing may remain in the latter end. [11] The father’s blessing establisheth the houses of the children: but the mother’s curse rooteth up the foundation.’’ Ecclus. 3:2-11.      Secondly, The Blessed Virgin said to wear the scapular would be a safeguard in danger. There are many phenomenal stories which bear this out, but one that comes to mind was a tragic accident that happened many years ago. A young Catholic man was going to work early in the morning. It was foggy. He was in a small car. He crashed into a lady in a large car. They were both seriously injured. His mother said the medics were attending to the lady, then left her to attend to the young Catholic man. The poor woman died, the young man lived. He was wearing his scapular! Fathers and mothers, you should be wearing the scapular, and praying the rosary every day. You should be teaching your children to wear the scapular at an early age. They will receive special graces and protection by doing so, and so will you. Doing these things will help us to eliminate sin, and bring peace to the world.  Tinyurl.com/yhjys5ar  or https://www.sistersofcarmel.com/brown-scapular-information.php.

The Blessed Mother said at Fatima, “If my requests are heeded, there will be peace in the world, and many souls will be saved.” So if we desire peace, let us fulfill her requests. What are they? Pray the rosary daily; “Stop offending God who is already too much offended,” she said. Do penance, and wear the Brown Scapular. Later she would come in the 1920’s to ask for the devotion to the Five First Saturdays and the Consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart by the pope and all the bishops in union with him.

She also warned about immodest fashions to come, which would offend Our Lord very much, and which are now prevalent everywhere. In the Novus ordo churches, it is outrageous what they come in wearing, some with shorts on up to their hips, others with bra straps showing, and all kinds of outrageous attire, men too in shorts and tee shirts; all of which are against the Decree. Yet what do we hear from the clergy? Silence! Their silence is bellowing all up and down America, more so than St. Thomas More’s in England, (Man For All Seasons). Pope Pius XI published a Decree on Modesty in 1930, mandating what must be observed. Unfortunately in all my years I have yet to hear one instruction on this grave sin that offends Our Lord very much. I have heard the word ‘immodest’ mentioned by one good priest but no instruction. There is a Pius V priest who gave a very good instruction on it which I found online. At the famous apparitions in Fatima, Portugal, the children were shown a vision of hell. Our Lady revealed to St. Jacinta that most souls were being lost to the fires of hell due to sins of the flesh, immodesty, lust, fornication, unwanted pregnancy (abortion), adultery , lewd conversation, scurrility (immodest jokes), pornography and bad tv – movies programming. And we add to all those evils immodest women coming in, contaminating even the very House of God, and being given sacrilegious Communions, even when the sin is manifest. The clergy who allow these things and say nothing offend Almighty God, help these women on the road to hell, plain and simple. “His watchmen are all blind, they are all ignorant: dumb dogs not able to bark, seeing vain things, sleeping and loving dreams.” Isaias 56:10.  “Hearken to me, you that know what is just, my people who have my law in your heart: fear ye not the reproach of men, and be not afraid of their blasphemies.” Isaias 51:7. ”Cry, cease not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their wicked doings, and the house of Jacob their sins. ” Isaias 58:1. ”My people have been a lost flock, their shepherds have caused them to go astray” Jer. 50″6. In the book Hell and How to Avoid Hell, Fr. Nieremberg relates a story of an exceedingly pious woman who asked Our Lord to show her what sin in women displeased him the most, and He answered her prayer by showing her a former acquaintance in hell for the dreadful sin of immodesty. You can read the story at this link: https://motherofgodlibrary.org/?s=woman+damned.

Recently a young lady came to church to go to confession, and she was wearing immodest shorts. The gentleman standing beside her asked her if she thought her dress was appropriate in the House of God. He informed her of the Decree on Modesty by Pope Pius XI, and suggested she look it up. Then he asked her, “Would you walk into the halls of heaven dressed that way?” She stayed in line and went to confession, and eventually to Communion. The man was thinking, It was not really her fault. It’s the fault of the pastors of the Church because they allow these things, and by their silence the women think it is okay. Moreover, where was the instruction of the parents? Apparently there was none. As one good Father recently stated in his sermon, “Most adults only have about a second or third grade education on the faith.”

We oftentimes hear people pray for peace, in the Ukraine now, and other war torn places throughout the world, but the greatest war going on now is unseen and hidden, the war on the unborn. More innocent unborn babies have died from the abortion war on the unborn than any other war in history. “The most dangerous place in the world today is a mother’s womb.’’ – Fr. Paul Marx. And so, I ask the Reverend Father, the bishops, and even the pope, how often have you promoted the message of Fatima in your sermons? Sure, you are supposed to preach the Gospel, but didn’t Mary give us Jesus? “Is she not the perfect way to Jesus, since that’s the way He came to us”, said St. Louis de Montfort. St. Louis also had this to say, “The reason Jesus is not known and loved as he should be up to this time, is because Mary is not known and loved as she should be.” St. Alphonsus said Mary was seen going about dispensing a sweet liquid, and this liquid was divine love. “I am the mother of fair love… Come over to me, all ye that desire me, and be filled with my fruits.’’ Ecclus. 24:24-26. If you want peace, preach Fatima. Jesus words to Elizabeth Kindlemann, Budapest, Hungary, April 17, 1962: “Ask My sons (the priests) to direct souls towards My beloved Mother. They should never give a homily without exhorting the faithful to have a profound devotion to her…They must bring this truth continually before the eyes of the faithful for this is the wish of our Great Lady.” Her spiritual diary in 2009 was given the Imprimatur from Cardinal Peter Erdo, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest and Primate of Hungary.

And the same goes for the lay people. How many have heard of Fatima and paid no attention to it. They have closed up the channel of grace, which is Mary, by neglecting to do what she said. St. Alphonsus wrote: “The devil, like Holfernes, who closed up the aqueducts to the city of Bethulia in order to overcome it, closes up devotion to Mary in souls, and once this channel of grace is closed up, he easily overcomes them.” The Glories of Mary. The Mother of Good Counsel and the Mother of Eternal Wisdom Jesus Christ himself, and they have paid no heed to her. And how many are living in sin because of it, and on the road to damnation. SOULS IN HELL. WHAT THE SAINTS AND SCRIPTURES SAY ABOUT IT. https://motherofgodlibrary.org/2019/04/.

Therefore, if we wish to be good Catholics, we should be greatly devoted to Mary, because the link between Holy Communion is tied up with devotion to Mary. Mary leads us back to God if we are in sin; (“For she is an infinite treasure to men! which they that use, become the friends of God”), and she leads us to Holy Communion if we are in the state of grace. Amen.
