TRUE DEVOTION TO MARY & HER DAILY ROSARY

“I want you to come here each month, and continue to say the rosary every day…If what I ask is done, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace…War is a punishment for sin…I have come to ask the faithful to amend their lives, and cease offending God, for He is already too much offended…You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. It is in order to save them that God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart…Many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray and sacrifice for them.”-Our Lady of Fatima, 1917.
These messages sum up what our duties are in regard to the Fatima requests. Daily rosary, daily rosary, daily rosary. Why did I repeat myself three times? Because that’s what it means. Most people are not praying the rosary daily, which is why the world is in such a bad shape. The rosary decreases sin in us, and others, by means of the great graces we receive by praying it daily. This is one of the promises attached to the rosary. It helps us to live in the state of grace, or if we unfortunately lose it, by continuing praying it each day, our Blessed Mother helps her poor children to get back to confession, and then Holy Communion, which is the Bread of the strong. It also causes good works to flourish, she said, and so we reach out to help others more, thus making them better also.
How about you, if you are a Catholic? Do you pray the rosary each day? Most of you, if asked this question will say, “No.” Many of you have never even heard of Fatima. Whose fault is that? It’s the clergy. They don’t talk about Fatima. Most of them don’t pay any attention to it. They don’t preach it, they don’t encourage it, many will say you don’t have to pay any attention to it. If that was the case, then why did the Blessed Mother warn of most terrible chastisements for failing to do so? They would have told Nineveh the same thing. “Oh! That Jonah. That’s just a private revelation! You don’t have to believe it!” Really? Does anyone really think God was just joking when He sent Jonah to Nineveh? Jonah had no miracles to back him up. He had no Church approval. He had no special signs like the Blessed Mother was giving at Fatima. He had no healings. He had no great miracle of the sun before 70,000 witnesses to back him up. As Father Lucian Hayden once said, “When God speaks, it is always wise to listen.” As Father Altman said, “When God tells you to do something, you better do it!” But if Nineveh had not heeded Jonah, is there anyone who would have said that God would not have destroyed them? Nobody in their right mind.
So why do we hear so many clergy say we are not bound to pay attention to it? Because they think it’s only a private revelation. But it’s much more than that. Pope John Paul II said, ”The message of Fatima is addressed to every human being.” If it was only a private revelation, God would have chosen only one person. He didn’t. He chose three. “In the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word stand.” Deut. 19:15; and Matthew 18:16. Jonah did not even have two people to back him up.
Fr. Nicholas Gruner explained that Fatima falls into the realm of public revelation, not Public revelation which we are required to believe by faith, but a prophetic revelation which Scripture says we must heed and hold fast to it. “Extinguish not the spirit. Despise not prophecies. But prove all things; hold fast that which is good.’’ 1st Thessalonians 5:19-21. He explained that Fatima is a prophetic revelation, it has been proven by the Church to be good after a 13 year investigation, and the Scripture says to hold fast to it, that is, pay attention and do what it says. Otherwise, we are extinguishing the spirit, and the Bible tells us not to do that! Yes, we must heed Fatima, or suffer the consequences, in this life wars, persecutions, and even the annihilation of several nations, if we do not amend our lives and pray the rosary as she requested. Mary also held out the Brown Scapular to the world, and Sister Lucy said She wants everyone to wear it. It’s is a pledge of salvation if we die wearing it, and also a protection in danger. Many people have been saved in time of danger due to their wearing of the scapular. It must be worn over the shoulders properly to gain the promises. We cannot make up our own rules as to how we will wear it. Search: Scapular stories, and you will see how some people have been protected wearing the scapular, and some even from death!
What are some of the other things she said at Fatima? She also revealed some things to little Jacinta, now St. Jacinta, before she died. She said, “Fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much.” As one priest said, “That means, mortally sinful.” Yet how many churches do the pastors let immodesty run rampant at their Masses, and so many sacrilegious Communions! The clergy are silent as church mice regarding this sin which contaminates the House of God, and outrages him by unworthy Communions.
She said, “Priests must be very pure, and concern themselves only with the things of God. Many marriages are not good, and are not pleasing to God.” So many divorces, which rip the families apart. So much birth control. So much infidelity, which destroys the souls of the young children. And, She said, “More souls go to hell for sins of the flesh than for any other reason.” Couples should be advised to read this encyclical on marriage issued by Pius XI, which teaches what the true responsibilities in marriage are. St. Francis de Sales said , “The greatest method of praying is the rosary.” St. Padre Pio said, “The rosary is the weapon with which to overcome the evils in the world today.” He also knew what lay ahead for the Church. He said, “Pray, and get others to pray, for the world is at the threshold of its perdition.” We may be getting close to another world war, predicted by our Blessed Mother, and the annihilation of nations. Why do you think in recent years there have been so many weepings of Jesus and Mary? Why do you think Our Lady of Fatima statue wept tears in New Orleans the day that legalized abortion? Some of her weepings she has shed tears of blood? Because of the gravity of our sins. Why is she weeping? She told Fr. Gobbi: “I am weeping because humanity is not accepting my motherly invitation to conversion…The Lord is openly denied, outraged, and blasphemed. Your heavenly Mother is held up for ridicule…the signs of my immense sorrow which I am giving are not being believed in.”
“I am weeping because the Church is continuing along the road of division , of loss of the true faith, of apostasy and errors which are being spread more and more without anyone offering opposition to them…I am weeping because, in great numbers, the souls of my children are being lost and going to hell. I am weeping because too few are those who accede to my request to pray, to make reparation, to suffer and to offer.”
“I am weeping because I have spoken to you and have not been listened to; I have given you miraculous signs and I have not been believed. I have manifested myself to you in a strong and continuous way but you have not opened the doors of your hearts to me.’’ Sept. 15, 1987.
She says her heart is bleeding. “I am your most sorrowful Mother. Again today, I am causing copious tears to fall from my merciful eyes. They want to make you understand how great the sorrow of the Immaculate Heart of your heavenly Mother is. My heart is bleeding. My heart is transfixed with deep wounds. My heart is immersed in a sea of sorrow. You live unconscious of the fate which is awaiting you. You are spending your days in a state of unawareness, of indifference, and of complete incredulity. How is this possible when I, in so many ways and with extraordinary signs, have warned you of the danger into which you are running and have foretold you of the bloody ordeal which is just about to take place?’’
“Because this humanity has not accepted my repeated call to conversion, and to return to God, there is about to fall upon it the greatest chastisement which the history of mankind has ever known. It is a chastisement much greater than that of the flood. In her message to Enzo Alocci, whom Father Hebert said, had a statue of Mary Queen of the World, which wept tears of blood, She told Enzo of these things, and she said that only one quarter of mankind would be saved. She also told Enzo to go tell the clergy to be stricter about modesty in the House of God, for it was not becoming to enter into the presence of the Divine Majesty in such indecency. I can only say, as the Blessed Mother instructed St. Dominic, if you are not praying the rosary each day, you better start, for the good of your own soul, and those of your families, friends and neighbors. Our Lord one time spoke to Blessed Alan de la Roche at the consecration of the Mass, and asked him, “Why are you crucifying Me again?” Blessed Alan was shocked and said, “What Lord?’ and Jesus told him, he was crucifying the Lord again, because he had all the knowledge and learning to preach the Blessed Mother’s Psalter (Rosary), which would bring sinners back to God, and he was not doing so, therefore, he was guilty of the sins they were committing. So you see, Jesus himself is stressing the rosary to bring souls back to God.
Praying the rosary brings treasures of grace. St. Louis de Montfort said, “The rosary is a priceless treasure inspired by God.” The Blessed Mother told St. Dominic that it is a battering ram against evil. Fr. Gabriel Amorth, R.I.P., said he had a colleague who heard the devil say in an exorcism, “Every Hail Mary is like a blow on my head! If Christians only knew how powerful the rosary is, it would be my end!” The Scripture speaks of a woman ‘’terrible as an army set in battle array.’’ “Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in array?” Canticles (Solomon) 6:9. This woman is Christ’s Mother, and ours. We would be wise to listen to the warnings of our heavenly Mother, before it’s too late!
