Before I begin, I want to share a story that was told me by two different priests assigned to the Catholic Church in Maysville, Ky. About 30 years ago when I was driving a truck and delivering in Maysville, I arrived there in the evening of August 14th. I called the church to ask about the Holy day times the next day. The next morning I went to Mass there, and the priest had an exceptionally good sermon about Mary’s Assumption. I spoke with the priest after Mass and we got into a conversation. He related to me a story about Our Lord Jesus Christ speaking to Fr. Gobbi. This is how the story went.
Jesus said to Fr. Gobbi, “Would you like to see my bride, the Church?’’ to which Fr. Gobbi replied, ”Yes.” Then Jesus proceeded to show him a woman covered with leprosy. Fr. Gobbi, shocked, replied, “This is your bride the Church?” And Jesus said, “Yes. This is how she looks because of all the sacrilegious Communions!” A few years later I was back up there and I called the pastor about the story. A different pastor. He told me the same story, confirming what the first one said.
Several years ago, a woman was in the process of breaking up a good Catholic home. She continued to go to Holy Communion, while the husband told her she should not be going to Holy Communion because her actions were unjust breaking up a good Catholic home. She disregarded his advice and continued to go. Soon afterward some strange bumps started popping out on her body, and the doctor could not figure out what it was, or how to treat it. The husband knew about this story of Jesus to Fr. Gobbi related above. He told her the story and warned her she should not be going to Holy Communion. She finally listened to his advice and quit receiving Holy Communion. The bumps cleared up after that. She eventually divorced her husband, the unjust judges gave her custody of the children and today, all the children are now living in sin. A tragic story, of how one spouse no longer wishes to keep her vow “for better or worse,’’ and take up her cross and follow along after our Lord. “The father’s blessing establisheth the houses of the children: but the mother’s curse rooteth up the foundation.” Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 3:11.
A family is like a porch with two pillars. Both pillars have to be there to hold the porch up. If not, it falls. Both parents are necessary to hold a family together. If one is missing, the family falls. Most marriages have high points and low points, but when things are going bad, we are supposed to offer up our trials, pray together and work together. In other words, like Jesus said, “Take up your cross, and follow me. “ What is Jesus carrying when we are walking behind him? He’s carrying a cross too. And so is his Blessed Mother. St. Alphonsus said, “St. Bridget had a vision in Rome of an angel with a very long sword, dripping with blood, which denoted Mary’s long martyrdom. Mary had to live 33 years after Simeon’s prophecy in the temple, St. Luke 2:35, knowing that Jesus would one day die a cruel death!”
Now let us hear what our Blessed Mother herself says to Fr. Gobbi about many sacrilegious Communions. This is taken from her message #330, August 8, 1986: “But above all, it is the sacrileges which today form, around my Immaculate heart, a painful crown of thorns. In these times, how many Communions are made and how many sacrileges perpetrated! It can be said that there is no longer any Eucharistic celebration where sacrilegious Communions are not made. If you only saw with my eyes how great this wound is which has contaminated the whole Church and paralyzes it, halts it, and makes it impure and so very sick! If you only saw with my eyes, you too would shed copious tears with me.” “So very sick,” she said. Leprosy is a figure of mortal sin.
No more is this more evident than seeing immodest women parade in church, and march right up to the Communion rail. This is what we call a manifest sin, something that is clearly seen. “Some men’s sins are manifest, going before to judgment: and some men they follow after.” [1 Timothy 5:24]. Most people, including clergy, are not aware that Pope Pius XI issued an encyclical on modesty in 1930, which is to be observed. You can find it here: A PAPAL DECREE CONCERNING MODESTY – Pope Pius XI, 1930, tinyurl.com/2ardncx4. A priest cannot read souls and therefore, if someone comes to Holy Communion with a hidden sin, he cannot refuse them and does not incur sin. However, when the sin is manifest, such as immodesty, he not only can, but is obligated to refuse them, according to the decree of Pope Pius XI. Pope Pius XI said, “Women and girls who are immodest are to be debarred from Holy Communion.” Here the Pope plainly stated the clergy ARE NOT to give them Holy Communion! If their immodesty is severe enough, he is also obligated, according to the Pope, to remove them from the church. As the Lord says in the Gospel, concerning the man who came to the wedding feast without a proper wedding garment on, “Cast him out.” One gentleman who used to serve Fr. Charles Schoenbaechler at the altar rail said, “If someone came up to the Communion rail not properly dressed, Father would lean over and say quietly in their ear, “Go home and get dressed. Then come back.” Yes, Pope Benedict said the clergy are to debar these people from Holy Communion.
Brother Biagio Conte, who recently died, wrote a letter to Pope Francis. The title: Modern Day “St Francis” Pens Disturbing Letter of Warning to Pope Francis Prior to His Passing! 2023: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HtKujVcCUU. He says if the clergy don’t warn the sinner, speaking especially of immodest women in the church, that they will take on the sin of others, just like Our Lord told Ezeckiel, chapter 3. Brother Biagio complains of their immodesty in the church, at Holy Communion, in the Sacraments, and even at weddings the bride herself is indecent. It is not uncommon in this one church where confessions are held frequently, to see immodest women going into the confessional. I recall reading one time Our Lord spoke to Sr. Josepha Menendez, speaking of his clergy, “While absolving others, were themselves on the road to perdition.”- The Way of Divine Love. St. Leonard of Port Maurice, in his COUNSELS TO CONFESSORS, has a terrible story of a priest damned to hell for all eternity because he would absolve an adulterer without making him give up his sin! Most of the women and girls, Catholic women included, are immodest. Do you think any of them confess their immodesty in confession? Sr. Josepha Menendez was taken to hell many times by Our Lord, and she saw many clergy burning in hell. There are 12 things that happen when a woman comes into church indecently, and many of these things fall back the priest. https://motherofGodlibrary.org/2022/07/13/twelve-things-that-happen/.
Our Lady of Good Success, over 400 years ago, warned Mother Marianna of Jesus that in our time, the 20th century, there would be very little innocence in children, nor modesty in women. She also talked about the value of Holy Communion to Venerable Mary of Agreda, Spain, and how it is treated irreverently and sacrilegiously by many souls, and these were her words: “Ever keep up this devotion; for the truth thou hast perceived, that this consecrated body contains part of my own blood and substance, is in fact real. And if in thy love thou wouldst deeply grieve to see the sacred body and blood ignominiously and sacrilegiously trampled underfoot; thou shouldst feel the same grief and shed bitter tears at seeing so many children of the Church treat it with irreverence and without decorum. Weep then over this misfortune; weep, because there are few who weep over it, and weep, because the evident designs of the love of my Divine Son are frustrated. And in order that thou mayest weep more bitterly, I tell thee, that, just as in the primitive Church there were so many, who were saved by it, now there are countless souls who damn themselves through it. I do not tell thee what happens in this regard every day; lest, if thou knew it, and have within thee any love, thou shouldst die of grief. This damage is done, because the children of the faith are following darkness, love vanity, covet riches, and nearly all of them seek after vain and deceitful pleasure, which blinds and obscures the understanding and covers up the light with darkness, which knows no distinction between the good and the bad and penetrates not the truths of evangelical doctrine.” Vol. 4, chapter 7, THE MYSTICAL CITY OF GOD. As holy Job said, ” But where is wisdom to be found, and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof, neither is it found in the land of them that live in delights.” Wisdom 28:12-13. Wisdom is not found in them who are always seeking pleasure.
This is what is going on today in great numbers, because, when was the last time you heard a priest give a sermon on modesty, and the dangers of immodesty? This is an every day occurrence in the Novus Ordo churches. However, the traditional churches also have their problems as well.
There are also now a boatload of Catholics who practice contraception, yet march right up and go to Holy Communion. In our diocesan paper it will acknowledge those who have 50, 60, or even 70 year anniversaries. Then you look at the children they have, 2, maybe 3 or four, sometimes 5. There were about 5 couples totaling 300 years, and they only had a total of 12 children! Half that time is fertility. That’s not even one child every ten years! What do you think they were doing? Jesus cursed the barren fig tree. “And seeing a certain fig tree by the wayside, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves only, and he saith to it: May no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.” Matthew 21:19.
One couple who went to the Natural Family Planning classes in their 20’s had one child. After the classes, they never had another child! Is this natural, planting your seed at a time of year when it will not grow? Now we all know there are extenuating circumstances in some marriages, but this is a trend we see in our paper on a regular basis.
Mary informed little Jacinta of Fatima, now St. Jacinta, that “Certain fashions would be introduced, that would offend our Lord very much.” As one priest said, “That’s mortally sinful.” If immodesty wasn’t mortally sinful, then St. Paul would not have said, “The immodest…shall not obtain the kingdom of God.” Gal. 5:19-21, drbo.org. Only mortal sin keeps us out of heaven. I was in church today, and this one lady who goes to Mass every day, a good Catholic, gave a sterling example of how ladies should dress. She was fully covered, and her dress went down all the way to her ankles. This is how the Blessed Mother always dressed. In THE MYSTICAL CITY OF GOD, it says she was always fully covered, and the only part of her that was visible was her face, which inspired so many, and her hands, that had labored for souls.”
Also Mary to little Jacinta at Fatima said, “More souls go to hell for sins of the flesh than for any other reason.” In Our Lady’s warning to Enzo Alocci about 50 years ago, she told him, “Son, go and tell the priests to be stricter toward the faithful and send away all persons entering the church in indecent dresses, because it is not suitable to come into the Presence of the Divine Majesty in such indecency.” “Send them away,” the Blessed Mother said. When was the last time you informed your pastor you do not approve of seeing immodest women in the church? Has he heard from you? Our silence and his implies consent. St. Edmond Campion said, “All that’s necessary for evil to overcome good, is for good men to do nothing.”
What is Mary saying here? She’s saying the same thing Pope Pius XI decreed. Show them out of the church if they are indecent. Do not give them Holy Communion. “Give not that which is holy to dogs,” Jesus said. Fr. Albert J. Hebert. S.M., in one of his books on prophecy quotes Enzo Alocci, and he said Enzo was a stigmatist, and had a statue of the Queen of the World which wept tears of blood. When you search Enzo online, you will see the statue he’s speaking about, covered with tears of blood on her cheeks.! In her message to Fr. Gobbi, #362 she tells him why she is weeping. One reason she says is because souls in great numbers are being lost and going to hell; because too few accede to her request to pray, to make reparation, to offer and to suffer; and because she has spoken and has not been listened to. How often do you hear the clergy talk about the need to make reparation to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary on First Fridays, First Saturdays? It’s almost unheard of. How often do you hear the clergy, bishops and priests, warn about the dangers of immodesty, birth control, the marriage bed undefiled, adultery, fornication? If these things will damn us to hell, what kind of shepherd is silent in the face of such danger? He is like salt without savor. Salt preserves and purifies. The clergy preserve us by good moral and doctrinal teaching, and purify us through the Sacraments and also preserve us in a special way by frequent and worthy Communions. They can’t just talk about the love of God and doing His will. They also have to be specific on how to do that, what that entails. For example, the necessity of prayer – much prayer; praying the rosary every day and wearing the Brown Scapular, being devoted to Mary, making sacrifices for sinners, visits to the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Hours, avoiding the occasions of sin, frequent Confessions, dressing modestly at all times – both men and women; cease from cursing, etc. And Mary said at Fatima that we must amend our lives. Sr. Lucia asked the Blessed Mother to heal one man, and Mary said, “Let him be converted first.”
The Blessed Mother warned at Fatima about fashions that would offend our Lord very much and that more souls go to hell for sins of the flesh than for any other reason. Shall the clergy not warn people of the danger of going to hell for their immodesty, especially in God’s very own House? The clergy can no longer be silent on these issues. What good does it do to tell someone to do something and you don’t show them the means. Go build a house. How do I do that? With tools and instructions.
Why are so many souls going to hell? One reason is the silence of the clergy. Like Jonah, it’s not something they want to do, but when they accepted the responsibility of saving souls, they also accepted the responsibility to warn these souls. God told Isaias, “Cry, cease not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their wicked doings, and the house of Jacob their sins.” 58:1. What does a trumpet do? It’s loud. It sounds the alarm. It can definitely be heard. It wakes everybody up.
In his sermon, Advice to Parents, St. Alphonsus gives a warning to the clergy who are negligent in instructing souls properly: “It was related that, in the year 1248, an ignorant priest was commanded, in a certain synod, to make a discourse. He was greatly agitated by the command and the Devil appearing to him, instructed him to say, “The rectors of infernal darkness salute the rectors of parishes, and thank them for their negligence in instructing the people; because from ignorance proceeds the misconduct and the damnation of many.” https://www.olrl.org/snt_docs/advice.shtml.
“Negligence of the clergy damns souls,” the devil says, according to St. Alphonsus. Ignorance- “For my foolish people have not known me: they are foolish and senseless children: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.” Jeremias 4:22. They must be taught properly. In order to do the will of God, we must know the will of God. “Knowledge is a fountain of life to him that possesseth it: the instruction of fools is foolishness.” Proverbs 16:22.
There is a story taken from Fr. F.S. Shouppe’s book, HELL AND HOW TO AVOID HELL, about a woman who was damned mainly for the sin of immodesty, although it said otherwise, she had not lived that badly. It can be found at this link: MotherofGodlibrary.org/2019/12. It said this is the sin in women which is most displeasing to God, because a woman who walks around immodest all day is a bad example to everyone that sees her, and a temptress for many men and young boys. How many young boys and men have bad thoughts when they see women and girls scantily dressed in public?
Judas was the first one to make a sacrilegious Communion, and he lost his soul. “None of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled,” [John 17:12]; “Have not I chosen you twelve; and one of you is a devil? Now he meant Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon…” 6:72. What Scripture? Psalm 108, which predicts the condemnation of Judas. “Set thou the sinner over him: and may the devil stand at his right hand. When he is judged, may he go out condemned; and may his prayer be turned to sin. May his days be few: and his bishopric let another take. May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. Let his children be carried about vagabonds, and beg; and let them be cast out of their dwellings.” 6-10. St. Peter refers to this dreadful prophecy in Acts 1: 20: “For it is written in the book of Psalms: Let their habitation become desolate, and let there be none to dwell therein. And his bishopric let another take.”
Jesus told St. Bridget about the great evil of a sacrilegious Communion. He said, “There does not exist on earth a punishment severe enough to punish a sacrilegious Communion.” St. Alphonsus said that when a person receives Holy Communion unworthily, he attempts to place Jesus on the throne of his heart alongside Satan. Can you imagine anything more evil? Can you imagine a priest turning a blind eye to these things and giving them Holy Communion unworthily? Participating in their sin? What kind of punishment do you think is in store for the priest?
If things continue to go on as they are, then there will be nothing left but the horrible chastisements to come upon us, just because we refused to listen to Our Lady’s warnings. Our Lady said at Akita, Japan, 1973: “As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead…” Mary said to Sister Elena Aiello in the 1950’s: “Today, more than ever, men are, resisting the calls from Heaven, and are blaspheming God, while wallowing in the mire of sin. My daughter, look upon my Heart pierced by the thorns of so many sins; my face, disfigured by sorrow; my eyes, filled with tears. The cause of such great sadness is the sight of so many souls going to Hell, and because the Church is wounded – inwardly and outwardly.” Why is Mary so sad? Because of so many souls going to hell.
“The rulers of nations make so much ado and speak of peace. But instead, the whole world will soon be at war, and all mankind will he plunged into sorrow, because the justice of God will not be delayed in fulfilling its course, and these events are near. Tremendous will be the upheaval of the whole world, because men — as at the time of the Deluge — have lost God’s way, and are ruled by the spirit of Satan’. Ruled by the spirit of Satan. Do we not see it?
‘Priests must unite by prayers and penance. They must hasten to spread the devotion to the Two Hearts. The hour of my triumph is close at hand. The victory will be accomplished through the love and mercy of the Heart of My Son, and of My Immaculate Heart the Mediatrix between men and God By accepting this invitation, and by uniting their tears to those of My Sorrowful Heart, priests and religious will obtain great graces for the salvation of poor sinners.” The clergy should be promoting reparation to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary every month, warning people of their sins, and explaining the importance of making reparation for our sins. They should talk about this every month. People need to continually hear these things, or they will do nothing. One church in the diocese has First Friday/First Saturday devotions every month, and only a handful of people show up. The same old people.
Mary continues: “LAUNCH FORTH INTO THE WORLD A MESSAGE TO MAKE KNOWN TO ALL THAT THE SCOURGE IS NEAR AT HAND. The justice of God is weighing upon the world. Mankind, defiled in the mire, soon will be washed in its own blood, by disease; by famine; by earthquakes; by cloudbursts, tornadoes, floods, and terrible storms; and by war. But men ignore all these warnings, and are unwilling to be convinced that my tears (Weeping Madonna of Sicily?), are plain signs to serve notice that tragic events are hanging over the world, and that the hours of great trials are at hand.” The full messages of Mary to Sr. Elena Aiello can be found at this site: MotherofGodlibrary.org. Fr. Ronld Tangen said her messages have the Imprimatur. May he rest in peace.
Mary has given us many prophetic warnings throughout the world, many approved by the Church, many confirmed by miraculous weepings and so forth. In one of her messages where she wept, Fr. Albert J. Hebert, S.M. reported: “She told the seer, “I have buried them in signs!” And yet again, how often have the clergy warned us of these things? It is rare to hear the clergy speak of prophetic warnings from heaven, especially those approved, but St. Peter tells us it would be well to attend to the more firm prophetical word, which Fatima, Akita, Lourdes and LaSalette, Guadalupe fall into this category. St. Peter said, “And we have the more firm prophetical word: whereunto you do well to attend, as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:” 2 Peter 1:19. Are you praying the rosary each day, as Our Lady of Fatima told us? To save yourselves and your children? Or would you rather just wait for the annihilation of nations she warned us about if we don’t listen, and the fire to fall from heaven? Bud McFarlane , Sr., many years ago gave a talk, and he quoted Mary from one of her messages, and she said, “When God comes to you, He does not come as a joke! God does not joke, and He will not be joking when He comes with His arm of justice over the world! Jesus said, “Just Father, the world hath not known thee.” St. John 17:25. Isn’t it time we woke up and paid attention?
